Hi! It's nice to meet you, I'm Tricia Williams. Gloriously married to the man of my dreams, my high school sweetheart, Scott for the past 12 ½ years! I'm the Mom of 4 amazing kids, most of whom are adults and have given me some wonderful grand babies!
My youngest child, aged 16, is actively seeking a career in photography, and as he learns, I've taken it up as a hobby, as well! I've had a phenomenal time learning not just the craft of photography, but editing, as well. I thoroughly enjoy Graphic Design, as well as learning other Adobe Programs, too.
I've been blessed with a great love for learning new things, which has greatly served me well in the Promotional Products industry. Every day, every client offers a new challenge to learn new products, new ways to handle different situations.
As a female Native American owned business owner, I work to serve my clients to the best of my ability, while also bringing awareness to the challenges and triumphs of our Native American Tribes.
From a young age, I was raised by my Stepmother and Father in Central New York, being instructed never to tell anyone that I was Native American. Due to this instruction and being physically separated from my Native American heritage, I never learned my cultural identity as a child. This has drastically hindered my ability to identify with my heritage.
Having dealt with this Cultural Genocide, I've always somewhat kept my ethnicity to myself, since I don't "look like a Native American". It wasn't until July of 2022, when I found a Video of the Chief of the Wyandotte Tribe of Oklahoma, my Tribe, speaking about his personal experience with Cultural Genocide, that I began to understand that I'm not alone. Since then, I've begun taking Wandat Language courses, trying to assist with reviving our Tribe's Language.
My goal, personally as well as professionally, is to bring awareness of the Cultural Genocide that effects many Native Americans, like myself. Especially those who have been taught that they're not "Native Enough", but with grace and a grateful heart. I'm grateful, that at the age of 47, I still have the ability to learn my heritage and hopefully pass the information down to my children as well as my grandchildren.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about who I am and my "Why".
I'm Scott! In 2010, I married the love of my life and stepped in to help raise her beautiful 4 children! For the past 28 years, I've worked in the Quality Assurance Industry, most recently as the Quality Manager for a Global Manufacturing Company, with a facility local to us here in South Georgia.
In May of 2022, I took the leap to leave my position and join my wife in her Promotional Products business, as well as run my own Home Inspection Company, Williams Home Inspections (www.WilliamsHomeInspections.com).
Taking this time to spend with my family and work side by side with my wife has been absolutely wonderful. I feel like I'm living the life of my dreams being able to be with my family, make a living, and enjoy our lives together on a daily basis!
